Last chance to view Weoley Castle until Spring 2010

The weekend of September 19th and 20th will be the last chance to use the viewing platform to see Weoley Castle for some time as work to enhance the site is about to begin.
Weoley Castle Development Work To Begin
The viewing area will be closed until Spring 2010 as work to enhance the Weoley Castle site begins. The project will create a community classroom, improve the original stonework of the medieval manor site and provide a programme of activities and events.
This project is being developed with £1.2 million in funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage and Birmingham City Council.
