Discover Community Museums this winter with a new programme of special events and activities!

Ever popular Aston Hall by Candlelight - see this Jacobean manor house illuminated by shimmering candlelight.

At Blakesley Hall enjoy a Tudor Christmas where the house comes alive in preparation for a banquet at Christ-tide.  A choir and hand bell ringers also entertain. Christmas Tales in Words and Pictures is a special storytelling and magic lantern show event for all the family.

Christmas Celebrations at Museum of the Jewellery Quarter to include carol singing and a christmas craft workshop.

Enjoy a series of insightful talks or walks from knowledgeable staff across community museums including a free warming drink.

  • Christmas Delights guided tours at Soho see the house decorated and discover Christmas traditions of the past.
  • Talk and Walk at Weoley on the archaeological objects relating to this medieval manor site.
  • Tours from Sarehole Mill to Moseley Bog, exploring Tolkien's links with the area and guided tours of magnicent Aston Hall.
