A series of talks on the Staffordshire Hoard will take place over the spring and summer at the Waterhall at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

On Sunday 1 April 2012, a number of Birmingham’s incredible historic venues and museums will once again, open to the public. Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, Sarehole Mill and Weoley Castle will be open daily from 1 April until 28 October 2012. Soho House is undergoing a major renovation and will open to the public 30 June 2012.

Children's Lives at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery 24 March - 10 June. Children’s Lives will be the first exhibition in the UK to trace the changing nature of childhood from the 18th century to the present day, through fine art, photography, film, objects, toys, sound archives and documentary sources.
