Summer Plant Fair at Blakesley Hall

Summer Plant Fair at Blakesley Hall

22nd May 2014

Blakesley Hall Museum will be holding its first ever Plant Fair, in conjunction with Flower Power Fairs on Bank Holiday Monday 26 May from 11am-4pm.

There will 11 plant specialists attending, offering hundreds of choice plants, flowering trees and shrubs, herbs, alpines, orchids, roses, lilies, succulents and shade loving plants including a specialist collection of ferns.

The plant fair will be held on the lawns between the striking Tudor Hall and the Friends flower border and you can also see the auricula theatre, the herb garden and the wildflower area.  The gardens have been developed over recent years and they are truly a hidden gem in the city!

DK Plants, Piecemeal Plants and Artisan Plants lead with a selection of choice plant specialists, all keen to share their passion with their customers.  Buying from local British businesses is one of Flower Power Fairs’ aims as well as encouraging more people to buy bee, butterfly and insect friendly plants for their gardens.
Entry to the fair is just £2.00 and car parking is free.  Refreshments are available in the Visitor Centre café and visitors are assured of a lovely day out.  No dogs allowed.
