The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter will be open for free on Saturday 1st October and Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, Sarehole Mill and Soho House will have free admission on Sunday 2nd October.
Did you know that all of the community museums offer free admission on the first weekend of the month (Saturday or Sunday)?
The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter will be open for free this Saturday 1st October and Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, Sarehole Mill and Soho House will have free admission on Sunday 2nd October. As well as free admission, there is an opportunity to meet Mick the Miller at Sarehole Mill on Sunday.
Another highlight this Sunday is Falconry Day at Weoley Castle. See majestic birds of prey take flight over the medieval ruins.
Big Brum History Buz
Also on Sunday the Big Brum History Buz will be running its ‘Manufactories and Mansions’ open-top guided bus service to Soho House and Aston Hall – with additional stops at Aston Manor Transport Museum and the Pen Room Museum.
Tickets: £3 adults, children free. No prebooking available.
