If you’re getting married Birmingham’s museums provide a choice of spectacular and elegant locations for your dream wedding.
Innovative new galleries telling the global story of a city and its people, from prehistory to the present day.
This exciting and ambitious project is part of BMAG’s 20 year plan – a vision for a world class museums service at the cultural heart of Birmingham.
It will transform the top floor of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery to create five new galleries telling the story of the city of Birmingham and its people. Drawing on the museum’s internationally significant Birmingham History collections the displays will encompass trade and industry, civic history and architecture, local topography, manufacture and design. The long history of Birmingham’s diverse communities will be vividly explored through themes of migration, work and social life.
