Saturday Arts Club

Location: Birmingham Museum

22nd November 2014 - 22nd November 2014

Our Saturday Arts Club for children aged 5-11 is a chance for children (and their parents) to experience working with real artists and creative practitioners. Children will be able to explore their creativity under the gentle guidance of Ruth Radcliffe, Benny Semp or one of our guest artists and be inspired by the lovely works in our exhibitions and displays.

Children can attend just one or all of the sessions, we don't take advance booking but we do expect participants to be able to stay for most of the session. The sessions run from 10.30 -12.30.

This week children can work with local artist Lucy Read to look at the designs featured in our First World War exhibition.

Please note -  tickets for children (accompanying adults free if they want to stay) are £5 per head from the learning zone at the start of the session.

We will be offering the participants the opportunity to work towards the Explore or Discover Arts Award as part of these sessions.

For more information please call Sarah Walker, Informal Learning Officer on 0121 348 8266 or by email.
