Our Saturday Arts Club for children aged 5-11 is a chance for children (and their parents) to experience working with real artists and creative practitioners. Children will be able to explore their creativity under the gentle guidance of Ruth Radcliffe, Benny Semp or one of our guest artists and be inspired by the lovely works in our exhibitions and displays.
This session, led by artist Benny Semp will look at using techology to create art and children can make and draw with their very own doodlebots. As this session involves constructing a doodlebot we would suggest that adults stay with younger children.
Children can attend just one or all of the sessions, we don't take advance booking but we do expect participants to be able to stay for most of the session. The sessions run from 10.30 -12.30.
Please note - tickets for children (accompanying adults free if they want to stay) are £5 per head from the art classroom in the learning zone at the start of the session.
We will be offering the participants the opportunity to work towards the Explore or Discover Arts Award as part of these sessions.
