Short documentary screening of the film, "I wasn't always dressed like this" directed by Betty Martins. Followed by an open discussion.
A link to a trailer of the film can be found here
Afroze will also display images from her photographic art project, 'Portrait of a Hijab-Wearing Muslim Woman'.  The project is a series of everyday images which aim to go beyond the veil and provide an insight into the lives and personalities of Muslim women.
Please note that while we expect the majority of the audience to be female, this is not a women only event.
