Bat night

Bat night

Location: Sarehole Mill

19th September 2014 - 19th September 2014

The evening will start with a knowledgeable introductory talk about bats habitats and habits, by 'Brum Bats'. With the onset of dusk, you'll be provided with a bat-meter to listen for bats feeding near the mill and millpond.

Bat detectors will be provided and instructions given.

Last year our bat-meters showed that the milpond was a popular feedging ground for common pippistrelles and soprano pippistrelles. With the pond restoration finished and bat boxes in place, we hope to hear more bats this year!

Event 7-9pm (dusk).

£7 per person, including coffee/tea. Pre-booking essential (tel. 0121 777 6612) or email sarehole.mill@birminghammuseums.org.uk to book a place.
