The Origins of Middle-earth

Follow in the footsteps of the young JRR Tolkien, as we take you on a guided talk along the lost hamlet of Sarehole and the natural splendour of Moseley Bog. Discover the childhood playground of Tolkien and learn about the places and people who would inpsire 'the Shire'. Departure from the mill at 1pm, duration about 1.5 hours, please wear suitable footwear. £6pp. Pre-booking essential, please ring 0121 7776612.
The guided walk will leave the mill and the route will find its way to Moseley bog, taking in the mill, pond and places along the river. The tour will go ahead come rain or shine, all that is necessary is to dress appropriately.
