'What's the Story?' is a series of three workshops for adults (16 years +), in which participants will write and develop stories inspired by the museum and our collections. Under the guidance of workshop leader, Andrew Killeen, participants will not only write stories but also learn how to revise and edit their writing.
Andrew Killeen is the author of two critically acclaimed novels and is an experienced workshop leader. Andrew is the founder and director of Pow-Wow Writing Group and Pow-Wow LitFest. In 2012 he as the writer-in-residence at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts.
Participants must be able to commit to all three workshops (Saturdays 20 April, 4 May and 18 May. 12.30 - 16.00). No experience necessary, just enthusiasm and an open mind!
Workshops will take place in the AV room in the Gas Hall.
£30.00 for all three sessions - advance booking is required. Spaces are limited to allow sufficient time for individual and group support and guidance.
