Enjoy a walk in the mill grounds and Moseley bog with the REP's new audio walk - Light from the Shadows'. Headsets for this self guided walk are available from the mill tearoom. Light from the Shadows was created by artists Charlotte Goodwin and Kate Chapman and is and imaginative journey inspired by the people who wander through Moseley Bog regularly and by the life of JRR Tolkien who played there as a child. Music, voices and stories will open up your imagination as you explore the mill and the bog's spectacular scenery.

George Catlin: American Indian Portraits

9.30 arrival for 10 start at the Museum Collections Centre in Nechells. This is a repeat of our Egyptian Study Day which has proved very popular in past. It is designed for those with little or no knowledge of ancient Egypt. Participants will learn how to interpret evidence from ancient Egypt, have a hands on session with a range of genuine Egyptian artefacts, take a closer look at hieroglyphic writing and end the day with a tour of the Collections centre, focusing on the Egyptian collections. Drinks will be provided throughout the day but you should bring your own packed lunch £30 per head.
