Invite to Teachers: Preview of the Pharoah Exhibition

Birmingham Museums is holding a preview event for teachers interested in bringing their classes to see the Pharaoh: King of Egypt exhibition at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery 14th July - 14th October 2012.

The preview will take place on 17th July 3.45-4.00pm – 6.00pm. This informal event will include a talk from one of our curators, advice and ideas on booking a visit and activities in the classroom, a free resource pack and the chance to handle some genuine ancient Egyptian artefacts. On top of this you will be able to explore our dedicated Learning Zone and have a question and answer session with a Learning Officer.

Birmingham Musuems is also hosting Teachers Forum meeting on Tuesday 26th June 4.30pm – 6.15pm. This is an evening for teachers to find out more about what we offer at all of our sites. We also want to hear what you have to say about our service and what we offer.
