Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery is holding a Volunteer Open Day at Blakesley Hall for people who are interested in doing volunteer work at Birmingham's community museums.

Come and meet the team over a cup of tea at Blakesley Hall from 12-4pm on Sunday October 16th

We have a number of volunteer opportunites available - so if you would like to:

• work in a historic setting
• get up close and personal with historic objects
• enjoy sharing your knowledge of history with others
• or are a keen gardener 

We have volunteer roles for you available at our community museums:

• Aston Hall
• Blakesley Hall
• Museum of the Jewellery Quarter
• Soho House Museum
• Sarehole Mill
• Weoley Castle ruins
