The Aston Hall and Park Development Project

Over the last three years Aston Hall and Park has undergone a £12.5 million makeover funded by Birmingham City Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund, Aston Pride and a host of other supporters.

The project includes:

• The refurbishment and redisplay of Aston Hall including the creation of a new Lifelong Learning Centre.
• The restoration of the Hall Stables Range to provide a new shop/reception area, café, activity rooms and exhibition space.
• The creation of a spectacular new garden: Lady Holte’s Garden
• New pathways, planting, lighting, security and other landscaping works throughout the park
• The creation of a number of new sports pitches, a new children’s play area and the construction of a new Sports Pavilion.
• The excavation and display of the archaeological remains of the original North Range and icehouse.
